Knit Care

Always check the care label on your specific piece before washing, as instructions can vary slightly between pieces.

Natural fibres rarely need washing after every wear; airing the piece outdoors is often enough to freshen it between wears.

Lambswool

  • When needed, hand wash in cool water with a small amount of wool wash
  • Never wring, tumble dry, or hang while wet. Lay flat on a clean towel to dry, reshaping gently while still damp
  • Fold rather than hang for storage; knitted fibres stretch under their own weight over time
  • Visit our Care & Repair page for more information

Merino & Bouclé Mix

  • Dry clean where possible rather than washing at home
  • If spot cleaning is unavoidable, dab gently with cool water and a mild detergent; never rub or scrub the looped surface
  • Avoid wringing or twisting a bouclé piece to keep the intended shape
  • Once aired, store folded.

Merino (Blankets)

  • Dry cleaning is recommended
  • If spot washing is needed use cold water and gentle detergent
  • Lay flat to dry and fold for storage

Storing All Pieces

Always store pieces clean, aired and folded flat.

A well-cared-for piece should be with you for years.

Sustainability

Sustainability shapes how we work.

Small Batches, Made to Order

We produce in small runs. This means we make only what we need, and we never
hold large quantities of stock.

Yarn Ends Repurposed

Most production runs leave some yarn colours that are left over. Rather than
discard them, we use these small amounts of yarn to design smaller accessories
in unique colourways. No two are exactly alike, and nothing goes to waste.

Responsibly Sourced Wool

Our Lambswool is RWS and GOTS Certified, which ensures the sheep are well cared
for and the land managed thoughtfully throughout the supply chain. Mulesing is
strictly prohibited under this standard. The dyes used are organic and environment
friendly too.

Global Organic Textile
Standard (GOTS) - Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)

 Natural Fibres

We work with natural fibres because they perform better, age well, and are
fully biodegradable too. A well-made lambswool or merino knit, properly cared
for, can last for years.

Locally Sourced

Our Corozo buttons come from a button-maker 15 miles away. They use traditional
techniques & new technology and the natural materials they use are ethical
and fully sustainable.

Care & repair

A few simple habits will keep your lambswool looking and feeling its best for years. Natural fibres are more forgiving than people think. They mostly just ask to be treated gently and not washed too often.
